Wu Mei Kung Fu Association

The Wu Mei Kung Fu Association was founded in 1973 when Grandmaster Peng arrived in New York City and began teaching at the Five Tigers School on Duane St., where Sifu Lo first met him.  In 1978 Sifu Lo opened his own school at 309 Canal St. and sponsored Grandmaster Peng's classes in the same space for many years.

When Grandmaster Peng retired in 1985 Sifu Lo moved the school to 626 Broadway into the Bodyworks Fitness Center, which Sifu Lo founded.  He provided space for Grandmaster Peng's son Han Ting Peng to teach as well.  In 1995 Sifu Lo moved the school to its present location in the Children's Aid Society Greenwich Center, which we hope to be in for many years to come.

Since 1990 Sifu Lo has brought Wu Mei students to Chinese martial arts competitions throughout the country.  Many students have achieved national champion status, some even in their very first competition.
